Drifting between a physical and metaphysical intermediary space, this body of work consists of imagined and built structures that float on water and clouds, relating to and integrating with the nature that surrounds them. Informed by The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, HOVER contextualizes these raft-like forms as vehicles to redemption, deliverance, and friendship.

Examining social and spiritual connective pathways as the destination itself, I am inspired by the utopian architecture movement of the 1960s. These flatbed constructions pave new spaces for transformative social structures, propelling fantasy into concrete terms.
